Nick is a freelance musician who is likely to appear just about anywhere, playing various types of music on various instruments. His recordings include playing bass with an old-time band, playing mandolin and fiddle on a folk album, and playing bass on a rockabilly CD.

During the summer Nick plays fiddle at a square dance every Monday night.
Nick also fills in with various bands. During 2009 he played fiddle on a number of dates with the Lockhart Mountain Boys, a bluegrass band based out of Saratoga and Warren Counties. He played upright bass with the Blues Men. He also played fiddle and other instruments with the Mariaville Cattle Company. He had select dates with Linda Lee and the Fox Creek Band.
In 2010, he had the great privilege of playing twin fiddles with the Dixie Bluegrass Boys out of southwest Virginia, and playing bass with the Frank Wakerfield Band.

June 23-26: River of Music Party (ROMP) at the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro KY. A third ground-breaking Pioneers of Bluegrass Gathering will occur here, this year augmented with a reunion of Blue Grass Boys (Bill Monroe's band) as well as music in nearby Yellow Creek Park.
